Remarks on inverse electrodynamics

چکیده

We study physical aspects for a new nonlinear electrodynamics (inverse electrodynamics). It is shown that this displays the vacuum birefringence phenomenon in presence of external magnetic field, hence we compute bending light. Afterwards lowest-order modification to interaction energy within framework gauge-invariant but path-dependent variables formalism. Our calculations show contains long-range (${1 \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {1 {{r^5}}}} \right.\kern-\nulldelimiterspace} {{r^5}}}$-type) correction Coulomb potential.
